ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
Salah did not make the cut for Klopp's starting lineup during Liverpool's clash against West Ham. As the Egyptian was making his way to the pitch as a second-half substitute, he was spotted arguing heavily with the German manager. After the 2-2 draw, Klopp tried to downplay the incident and claim that it was all sorted in the dressing room between the two. However, Salah later made comments to the media that showcased the incident was anything but sorted.

WHAT CARRAGHER SAID
Carragher posted his thoughts on the affair after the match, and asked fans to not "take sides" He wrote on X: "Mo Salah and Jurgen Klopp are both Liverpool legends. We don’t need to take sides! Salah is frustrated and angry with Jurgen that he’s not playing and at that moment didn’t want to fully embrace the boss, Jurgen understandably took exception.
"Mo was daft with his comment in the mixed zone but let them sort it out and enjoy the last few weeks together. They’ve been a massive help to each other in all that’s been achieved at the club!"

THE BIGGER PICTURE
For Klopp, his farewell season at Liverpool has not gone quite to plan as the club looked able to try and win the quadruple. However, FA Cup and Europa League exits along with a few undesirable Premier League results have meant that the Reds may end their season with just the Carabao Cup to their name. As for Salah, there are chances that the Egyptian may play his last game for the Merseyside club, as the 31-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this summer.

WHAT NEXT?
It will remain to be seen if the issues between the fan-favourite duo will be sorted by the time Liverpool get ready to take on Tottenham Hotspur in a week's time on Sunday, May 5. It remains unclear if Salah will get the start in that ever-important clash.
